Job description

O’Brien Service Company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Associate to support our administrative and operational teams. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate records, processing information efficiently, and ensuring that data is updated and accessible for internal use.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter, update, and verify customer, service, and vendor information into company systems.

  • Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and scheduling details.

  • Review data for errors, missing information, or inconsistencies and correct them promptly.

  • Support the scheduling and dispatch teams by ensuring customer information is accurate and complete.

  • Assist with compiling reports and generating documentation as needed.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Job requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration is a plus.

  • Strong typing skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company-specific software.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good communication skills and a professional, team-oriented attitude.
