O'Brien Service Company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and enhance the daily operations of our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service departments. This leadership role is critical in ensuring efficient service delivery, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the service departments, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Resource Management: Oversee scheduling, dispatching, and inventory management to ensure optimal resource allocation and minimize downtime.

  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high service standards and compliance with industry regulations.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage departmental budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve escalated customer issues, ensuring a positive customer experience and fostering long-term relationships.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other relevant metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the service industry, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical services.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with data analysis to drive decision-making.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of industry regulations and standards related to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services.
